About the Similkameen Valley Broadband Network
The network design for the Similkameen Valley Broadband Project is based on Fixed Wireless technology, which provides a number of radio frequency transmitter /receiver tower sites located at strategic points throughout the valley to allow customers with a matching radio card in their computer to connect to the internet and to other users on the network via a high requency radio link to these tower sites.
